River's Rest - Away From It All Near Home
River's Rest is nestled on the banks of the lower Chickahominy River approximately half way between Richmond and Newport News. Take the Providence Forge Exit (VA Rt. 155) South, then left onto VA Rt. 614 (for 6 miles), then another left onto VA Rt. 615 (Glebe Rd.- 4 miles). From there, make another left onto Willcox Neck Rd. (VA Rt. 623 - 5 miles). Watch for the River's Rest sign on the right. Alternately, patrons can use VA Rt. 5 (Charles City Rd.) to VA Rt. 623 (Willcox Neck Rd.) directly to the complex.
